Duckpin bowling is a little known variation of the standard bowling game. The game utilizes a bowling ball that is about five inches in diameter and smaller bowling pins to match. Originated in Baltimore, this unique game has been around since 1900. As the game evolved over the years it gained popularity and even went on to become a favorite pastime of Babe Ruth. Popularity began to decline in 1967, however, the game lives on right here at Johnson's Duckpin Lanes.
After nearly a year of renovation in 2007, we now offer you the benefits of bowling with the "brand new us." Hall of Fame bowler Sandi Thomas, the owner of the facility, proudly welcomes you to enjoy synthetic lanes for improved accuracy, new bathrooms, and fresh new appearance. Sandi, like most of our staff, truly loves bowling and works hard to provide you an experience you and your family will love as well.
